Hi everyone! ☺️ I’m back, with my first book challenge blog post (hehe).

Even though I wasn’t tagged by anyone, I still wanted to try out this challenge! It looked pretty fun. (I’m probably going to fail spectacularly, though. LOL. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Edit: Lily @ Sprinkles of Dreams was kind enough to challenge me in the comments! Thank you so much, again, Lily. 😊 Be sure to check out her beautiful literary blog, Sprinkles of Dreams and follow her if you haven’t already! Lily always has amazing blog posts and is one of the sweetest bloggers ever. 💗(Also, check out her I Spy Book Challenge post to see more beautiful book covers!)

How to do this challenge:

Find a book that contains (either on the cover or in the title) an example for each category. You must have a separate book for all 20, get as creative as you want, and do it within five minutes!

Hahahahaha…I’m DEFINITELY not going to be able to do this in five minutes. 😂 Totally not happening.

Alright, I think I’m going to time myself to see how long I take on this challenge (which will definitely be MUCH longer than 5 minutes, LOL.)

Ok…ready…get set…GO!

Months later…(JK 😂)

Lol…so I ended up using 20 minutes for this challenge, whoops. 😂 I told you that I wouldn’t be able to do it in 5 minutes. I feel like it’s impossible to do it in 5 minutes??? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lmao but please let me know if you were able to do it in 5 minutes. I will bow down to you as the book-cover finding master. 😌

Anyways, let’s get to the book covers! Can I just say that books are so beautiful??? They really are. They’re so gorgeous and I love them all.

I hope you guys liked this post and enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful book covers (hehe)! 😍 I know that some of these were a stretch, haha. I tried my best to make it fit the prompt, ok? 😂🙈 Also, this post actually took me forever in terms of formatting LOL. I had to experiment a lot before I finally figured out how to format the images in rows of four. (And it’s still not perfect, but oh well.) As you can tell, I’m still really new to WordPress. 😂  Why is WordPress so confusing?!

Since I’m pretty new to the book blogging community, I don’t know a lot of people yet. But I’m going to tag a few people that I’ve interacted with on their blogs! I hope you don’t mind being tagged. 🙈 (No pressure to do it if you don’t want to, haha! And sorry if you were already tagged; I tried my best to tag people who haven’t done it yet!) 💗

I challenge:

💫 Sav @ Booked on a Feeling

💫 Marie and/or Nyx @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books

💫 Nandini @ Unputdownable Books

💫 Beth @ Reading Every Night

💫 Sapphire @ Simply Sapphire Song

💫 YOU (if you’d like to do this challenge!)

Have you done this challenge? Were you able to do it in 5 minutes? (If you were, you’re AMAZING.) What are your favorite book covers? Comment below; I’d love to know! 💗 (Hey, that rhymed.)

  1. YAY THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAGGING ME!! This is a perfect excuse to go on goodreads LOL.😂 Also, all of the covers are gorgeous! I don’t understand how anyone can do this in five minutes. 😕😬

  2. You did an awesome job with the formatting, actually! Totally in love with the layout. 😉 And I’d probably take more than 20 minutes with this–but it seems like a fun challenge! So many covers I love here–When the Moon Was Ours, The Mermaid, People Like Us. ♥ New WP follower! ♥

    • Awww, thank you so much, Aimee! That really means a lot coming from you; I love the aesthetics of your blog – it’s gorgeous. 😍 (Thanks for the page breaks on your blog post, “How to Style Your Book Reviews to Make Your Readers Love Your Content!” and all the tips you gave; they were really helpful!)

You should do this tag if you’d like; it was fun, haha! (If you want to do it, I officially challenge you. 😂💗) And thank you so much for the follow! I really appreciate it. ❤️

  3. Ahhh this is such a fun tag, I love it – and you picked some amazing covers here, the aesthetic, I LOVE IT so much. I love the cover for How To Make a Wish so much, I can’t wait to read it. And Akemi Dawn Bowman has the most gorgeous book covers ever, that one and Starfish and ahhhhh I’m so in love haha. ❤
Thank you so, so much for the tag! ❤ ❤

    • Ahhh thank you so, so much Marie! You’ve been nothing but kind to me since I’ve joined the book blogging community; it honestly means the world to me. 💓

I’m currently reading How to Make a Wish and I’m really loving it so far, so I hope you’ll enjoy it as well! And I know, right, I love all of these covers so much. 😍 And you’re very welcome for the tag!! ❤️❤️

  4. This post makes me so nervous!! I keep seeing it around and even though I was tagged I’ve been avoiding it. The knowledge that there is a time constraint is seriously stressing me! No one that I know has done it in five minutes so I guess that’s less pressure. And I’m loving so many of these covers!!

    • Haha ikr, I haven’t seen anyone who did it in 5 minutes, either! It’s probably impossible to do it in 5 minutes, so forget about the time constraint if that lessens the pressure for you! 😂☺️💗 Other than that, I had lots of fun finding the covers. If you end up doing it, I can’t wait to see the covers you choose! 💕 (And thank you so much, haha!)

  5. I guess I have to be the one who bursts your bubble. I did this challenge in 4 minutes and 18 seconds. I do not know how I did it in under 5 minutes, but I stared at my bookshelf for a good hour before I actually did anything. Oops! I don’t understand why there isn’t a 24 hour time limit. I definitely would’ve been less stressed. I really liked your answers; plus, all the covers are so pretty. I cannot believe that you are making me choose just one. Instead, I am picking them all! Have a great day!

    • Haha thank you so much! ☺️ Ahhh ikr, WordPress is so confusing. This is what I did to format the covers in rows of four: I uploaded the four images of the covers, then I selected them all and clicked “continue.” And WordPress will give you options as to how you format those four images. I hope that made sense haha; this is just based off of my memory.
