I hope you all had a merry Christmas (if you celebrate it) and are enjoying your holiday season! Sending you all my love and good vibes. 🌟
I’m so sorry for my unplanned blogging hiatus – it’s been stressful and overwhelming over the past month, due to school and finals and life in general. 🙃 But no worries! I’m finally on winter break (actually, I’ve been on break for over a week now), and I’m so grateful for this three-week vacation from school. 😌 i really need it
With only a few more days until the new year (how???), I’m going to share myfavorite reads of 2018 with you all!! I’m SO excited about this post, because 2018 has been such an amazing year for me, bookish wise. 📚
Welcome back to my blog, where I’ll be screaming about five books that won’t be released until next year (otherwise known as my most anticipated 2019 releases)! 🙃 It’s never too early to start talking about 2019 releases, right? (2019 seems so far away now, because I want to read these books SO BADLY already. 😭)
I became inspired to write this post after reading Lily’s #Novel19s Book Recommendations post! You should definitely check out Lily’s post if you haven’t already, because she does a wonderful job convincing you to add more books to your probably overflowing TBR. 😉 I hope I’ll do the same with this post. 👀
Yes, today is my birthday!! 🙈🎉 (And yes, this year, my birthday coincidentally fell on the day of daylight savings. My birthday is 25 hours long 😂)
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while, but (this is past Dezzy speaking) I just realized that my birthday is coming up, and so I decided to do the Birthday Book Tag! 🎂
I first saw this tag over on Tiffany’s blog, Read by Tiffany, when she posted this on her birthday back in September! It looked like such a cute and fun tag, and so I decided to do it too, as it seemed fit for the occasion, hehe.
I honestly can’t believe it’s my birthday already! I know I always say this, but time flies by way too quickly. There’s only two months of 2018 left?! That can’t be right. :’) i’m going to be graduating high school in 2019 and it’s honestly blows my mind that 2019 IS ALMOST HERE oh my goshhh
ANYWAY. Excuse my mini existential crisis. 😂 i’m always like this around the time of my birthday. But without further ado, let’s get started with this tag!! 🎁

Book in a few words: Heartwarming, hilarious, relatable, lovable characters, ALL THE FEELS (i know this is more than a few words whoops but i can’t describe how amazing this book is in just a few words)
This may be a shorter post than usual, but we’ll see. I tend to ramble a lot (as you should know by now), and I love gushing and screaming about books I’m excited to read (obviously), so this post might end up longer than expected. Update: it ended up longer than expected. :’)
Also, I saw a tumblr post today that said “2019 is in 4 months” and that’s when it hit me: 2019 is actually almost upon us. How?! I honestly can’t believe there are less than four months of 2018 left. 🤯 Where did 2018 go? I feel like it was only yesterday that it was January.
Oops, you can tell from the previous paragraph that I REALLY procrastinated on writing this post. 😂😭 It’s already almost October, so there’s basically only threemonths until 2019 :’)
Ok, I’ll stop freaking out about how fast time flies, and get to the point of this post now. 😂 Without further ado, here are my most anticipated fall releases and why I’m extremely excited for them!!
